Hi, we’re Georg, Tara, Liv & Bodhi
We’re a German-American family of documentary filmmakers, currently based in the Dolomites and traveling the world as a family. Our films take you along for the whole adventure, from remote mountain villages to the wildest corners of Africa, and every one is shot, graded and edited by us.

So, what's "Fernweh" anyway?
/ˈfɛʁnˌveː/
You may have heard Georg speak a language other than English with the kids. That is because we are a German-American family. "Fernweh" is a German word that describes an intense longing or ache for distant places, essentially the opposite of "Heimweh," or homesickness.
In a nutshell, this is how Tara and Georg met and it has become their life's motto, to "Follow your Fernweh".
